Having been at Augsburg since 2019, Ruben Vargas' time at the Bundesliga club could soon be coming to an end.

According to Sky Germany, Borussia Mönchengladbach and Eintracht Frankfurt are both interested in the Swiss international.

With Vargas out of contract at the end of the season, Augsburg could look to cash in on him this winter.

However, given the short amount of time left on his contract, Die Függerstädter probably can't expect to get more than €1.5-2 million for him.

Gladbach and Eintracht are not the only suitors, though, as Villarreal and Sevilla are also said to be monitoring the attacking midfielder.

Vargas has scored 23 goals and laid on 19 assists in 160 appearances for Augsburg.
