Gerrit Holtmann's displacement of Sirlord Conteh at the top of the all-time Bundesliga speed chart ended up lasting just a little over a month. Heidenheim's Conteh took back the record whilst serving as a substitute in Saturday's 2-4 loss to Bayern. The 28-year-old was clocked at 36.82 km/hr during his 25-minute relief-shift. Earlier this season, Conteh achieved a top speed of 36.67 against Dortmund.

Conteh's new measurement knocks Achraf Hakimi (BVB) out of the top ten. A total of 24 players have broken the 36 km/hr barrier since data collection began. Active Bundesliga players who have passed this mark include Cole Campbell, Jeremie Frimpong, Lukas Kübler, Leroy Sané, Ansgar Knauff, Alphonso Davies, Karim Adeyemi, Nathan Ngoumou, Justin Diehl, Karim Adeyemi, and Loïs Openda.
