High-flying Leon Bailey is once again in the team of the week after another impressive performance.
Leon Bailey.
Leon Bailey.
Matchday 20 – team of the week (4-1-3-2):

Goalkeeper: Thomas Kraft, Hertha BSC
Generally a calm presence behind Hertha's back four and made several good saves as he kept a clean sheet in the 0-0 draw away against Werder Bremen.

Right-back: Lars Bender, Bayer Leverkusen
The versatile Leverkusen captain played very well until he had to be substituted with an injury in the second half.

Centre-back: Jonathan Tah, Bayer Leverkusen
Very solid display from the defender who helped Leverkusen keep a clean sheet in the 2-0 win against Stuttgart.

Centre-back: Naldo, Schalke 04
Lead the way for the Schalke defense that kept a clean sheet in the 2-0 win against Stuttgart. Once again showed how dangerous he is from set pieces as he headed in from a corner and came close to notching a second goal later in the match.

Left-back: Timothy Chandler, Eintracht Frankfurt
A solid performance from the American who used his strength to get past Patrick Herrmann and set up Kevin-Prince Boateng for the first goal in the 2-0 win against Borussia Mönchengladbach.

Central midfielder: Arturo Vidal, Bayern München
The Chilean midfielder was everywhere on the pitch in the 5-2 win against Hoffenheim. Won a lot of duels in the centre of the park, distributed the ball well and scored a goal.

Right midfielder: Leon Bailey, Bayer Leverkusen
Another outstanding performance by the young Jamaican who scored a stunning goal from distance.

Offensive midfielder: Amine Harit, Schalke 04
The technically gifted Moroccan midfielder grows more important for Schalke for every game he plays. Scored from the penalty spot and would have got a great assist if Yevhen Konoplyanka hadn't missed on open goal after Harit gave him the ball on a silver platter.

Left midfielder: Kingsley Coman, FC Bayern München
Arguably Bayern's best player in the 5-2 win over Hoffenheim. A constant threat on the left hand side and scored a great goal.

Striker: Nils Petersen, SC Freiburg
The Freiburg striker scored two goals – one of them an audacious lob from distance – in the 2-2 draw versus Borussia Dortmund.

Striker: Robert Lewandowski, FC Bayern München
Another strong performance by the Bundesliga topscorer who got a goal and an assist in the 5-2 win against Hoffenheim.
