Bayern injuries clearing up

There's good news on the injury front for Bayern München ahead of their upcoming games against Eintracht Frankfurt and Lazio.
Bayern München coach Hansi Flick could have a number of players back in contention for Saturday's game against Eintracht Frankfurt, according to Bild.

Leon Goretzka and Javi Martinez are both back in full training after recovering from coronavirus and should be available for Saturday's game.

After missing Bayern's last two games due to personal reasons, Jerome Boateng is also back in training and can return to the squad at any time after talking to Bayern coach Hansi Flick.

Meanwhile, Serge Gnabry resumed running training today along with 18-year-old Tanguy Nianzou, who is recovering from a long-term muscle injury.

Gnabry, who suffered a hamstring injury in Bayern's 1-0 victory over Chivas in the Club World Cup final last week, will not be available against Frankfurt, but there is a glimmer of hope that he will be fit in time for next week's Champions League last-16 tie against Lazio, as per Bild.
