Frankfurt's Andre Silva on European radar with EPL & La Liga interest

Scoring 9 goals already in 2021, he is level with Manchester City’s Ilkay Gundogan as this year’s top scorer till date across Europe’s top five leagues.
According to reports from Sky Germany, the two Manchester giants, Manchester United & Manchester City, are reportedly keeping close tabs and actively scouting Eintracht Frankfurt striker Andre Silva for a possible move to the Premier League at the end of the season – with United said to be more interested. Silva has been Frankfurt’s shining star up front this season, propelling the West German club to the third place in the Bundesliga – right behind leaders Bayern Munich and second placed RB Leipzig.

After moving from AC Milan in a swap deal that saw Ante Rebic move to Italy, the Portuguese forward has already made his mark in Germany and is now taking huge strides in his career by attracting eyes from some of Europe’s top clubs.

La Liga leaders Atletico Madrid and Barcelona are also said to have made their interest known in securing Andre Silva’s services - according to a report from Todofichajes.

The 25-year-old is Bundesliga’s second highest goal scorer this season with 18 goals in 20 appearances – 7 behind unstoppable Lewandowski. He has also registered 5 assists across all competitions.

Andre Silva made his name in Portugal with Porto, but after disappointing spells in Milan and Sevilla, the marksman is finally finding his true form with Frankfurt. With a market value of around the €40m mark, according to transfermarkt, clubs will not need to break bank in order to sign him.
