André Silva a doubt for Frankfurt's Bundesliga clash with Bayern
Eintracht Frankfurt are sweating over the fitness of André Silva ahead of their important game against Bayern München on Saturday.
Eintracht Frankfurt coach Adi Hütter has told reporters that André Silva is a doubt for Saturday's top-of-the-table clash against Bayern München in the Bundesliga.
"He has back problems," said Hütter at the pre-match press conference and went on to reveal that Erik Durm has picked up a knock as well.
"We hope that they will both be fit in time for the game."
Hütter also confirmed that Sebastian Rode will fill in for the suspended Djibril Sow in central midfield.
"Sebastian will play on Saturday if nothing happens to him in training. He will be top motivated against his former club and will want to build on the performances he showed before he picked up a minor injury."
Frankfurt sit third in the Bundesliga table, 10 points behind their upcoming opponents.
