Douglas Costa says he would like to go back to Juventus at the end of the season when his loan spell at Bayern München expires.

"I would like to return to Italy, a country that I appreciate very much," Costa said in an interview with Italian journalist Pierluigi Pardo.

"Let's see what happens. I still have a contract with Juve," added Costa.

The 30-year-old was an important part of Bayern München's team from 2015 to 2017, scoring 14 goals in 77 games, but he has struggled to make an impact during his second spell at the Bavarian club.

"They have a different playing style today compared to my first spell here. Now they play very direct attacking football instead of keeping possession more. I liked the other playing style better, even though they won the Champions League playing this way," said Costa.

The Brazilian winger, who is currently sidelined with a foot injury, has racked up a goal and an assist in 11 Bundesliga games this season.
