Flick 'assumes' Hernandez, Goretzka, Boateng and Coman can play against PSG

Lucas Hernandez, Leon Goretzka, Jerome Boateng and Kingsley Coman will travel with Bayern München to Paris despite their recent injury issues.
Bayern München coach Hansi Flick says he 'assumes' that Lucas Hernandez, Leon Goretzka, Jerome Boateng and Kingsley Coman will be fit enough to feature in Tuesday's Champions League quarter-final second leg against Paris Saint-Germain.

Hernandez and Goretzka missed out as Bayern drew 1-1 with Union Berlin on Saturday in a game that saw Jerome Boateng and Kingsley Coman pick up knocks.

Fortunately for Bayern, the four players all 'looked good' in training on Monday, Flick revealed at the pre-match press conference ahead of Tuesday's crunch clash.

"Lucas Hernandez and Leon Goretzka trained and looked good. The same goes for Jerome Boateng and Kingsley Coman. We assume that those who trained can play," said the Bayern coach.

Flick's troops will be hoping to bounce back from a 2-3 deficit following their loss in Munich last week.

"We had many chances in the first leg, but weren't so clinical. We have to do better. We know it won't be easy, but we will give everything," said Flick.

"We know we have to score at least two goals. It will be a tough task, but these are the games we play football for. We want to cause a mini upset in Paris. Of course, we'll be delighted if we manage that."
