Georginio Wijnaldum to Bayern links intensify

Georgionio Wijnaldum is said to be getting closer to a move to Bayern München.

Bayern München are in advanced talks to sign Liverpool midfielder Georginio Wijnaldum, according to Transfermarkt.

German news outlet Sport1 also reports that Bayern have approached Wijnaldum, claiming that the 30-year-old would be keen on a move to Munich.

Wijnaldum, who has played for Liverpool since 2016, is out of contract this summer and is therefore available on a free transfer.

The Dutch international's agent publicly flirted with Bayern earlier this month, telling Sport1:

"FC Bayern are a great club. Should they be interested in him, they are welcome to talk to us."
