Celtic loanee scouted by three Bundesliga clubs

Southampton winger Mohamed Elyounoussi, who is on-loan at Celtic since 2019, is being touted for a move to the Bundesliga.
Three high-profile clubs are said to be interested for the Norwegian international – Eintracht Frankfurt, Hertha Berlin and VfL Wolfsburg, according to reports from Germany.

However, Southampton’s stance on Elyounoussi is still not known after his productive season at Celtic in 2020/21 – where he scored 17 goals and made 8 assists in 45 appearances. This may prompt Southampton to retain and make him a part of the club’s future plans alongside Danny Ings. His deal with the Saints expires in June 2023.

On the other hand, Celtic are also said to be impressed by the 26-year-old's style of play, which may want them to make his transfer permanent going into the next season.

The talented winger has a market value around €15m, according to transfermarkt.

Having scored over a 100 goals in 333 appearances in his professional career,
Elyounoussi has the potential to add firepower to any of the three Bundesliga clubs.
