Two reliable German journalists report that Rodrigo Zalazar is headed for his third consecutive loan out. The 21-year-old midfielder of Spanish/Uruguayan roots still hasn't suited up for the SGE yet still joining the club in 2019. He made a strong case for himself last year in the 2. Bundesliga, amassing twelve scorer points with six goals and six assists on loan at FC St. Pauli.
The deal is said to be almost through, with Frankfurt pushing for a compulsory purchase option in the event of promotion. Should the Königsblauen manage to reach Germany's top flight at the end of the season, Zalazar will cost the club approximately €1 million.
#Schalke - #Zalazar kostet übrigens jetzt noch nicht die 1 Mio, sondern erst im Aufstiegsfall. #S04 müsste zudem im Falle des Weiterverkaufs prozentual an Frankfurt noch etwas überweisen. #SSN
