Here are the strikers you should consider when picking your Fantasy Bundesliga team for the start of the 2021/22 season.

With the new Bundesliga season just around the corner, we are ready to give you a helping hand with your Fantasy Bundesliga team.

In this article, we take a look at the forwards you should have on your radar when you put together your squad.

You should be aware that there will be an unlimited transfer period during the first international break between 30 August and 11 September, meaning you only have to plan ahead to Matchday 3 when picking your initial squad.

Budget options:
Hamadi Al Ghaddioui (Stuttgart, 4M)
Sasa Kalajdzic is unlikely to be fit enough to start in Stuttgart's Bundesliga opener against newly-promoted Greuther Fürth after being sidelined for the past few weeks due to COVID-19. 30-year-old Hamadi Al Ghaddioui scored in the DFB-Pokal in Stuttgart's 6-0 thrashing of BFC Dynamo last week while filling in for Kalajdzic and should keep his place up front for Matchday 1.

Jonathan Burkardt (Mainz, 6M)
Burkardt could get to play a key role for Mainz, who will have to rely on the goals of the 21-year-old with Robin Quaison and Robert Glatzel gone and Karim Onisiwo out with coronavirus. Most recently, Burkardt found the net twice and also scored in the penalty shootout as Mainz scraped by Regionalliga side SV Elversberg in the DFB-Pokal, and the young striker could have had even more goals to his name in that game if he had been a little more ruthless in front of goal.

Davie Selke (Hertha BSC, 6M)
Despite a couple of disappointing seasons in a row, it may not be too late for Selke to revive his career. The 26-year-old has looked sharp in pre-season and looks nailed on to lead the line for Hertha.

Mid-range options:
Rafael Borré (Frankfurt, 7M)
Borré has arrived at Frankfurt with the tough task of filling the void left by the prolific André Silva. Picking the 25-year-old Ecuadorian forward from the start of the season is a little gamble as he might need a bit of time to adjust to his new surroundings, but he could be a risk worth taking if he hits the ground running.

Mark Uth (FC Köln, 8M)
Uth is back at Köln, where he impressed on loan in the second half of the 2019/20 season, racking up five goals and six assists in 15 games. From a Fantasy perspective, it's a shame that he's listed as a striker and not as a midfielder. But being the focal point on Köln's attack, he could still offer plenty of value.

Donyell Malen (Dortmund, 12M)
Dortmund's new signing netted 27 times in 45 games for PSV last season, so he surely knows where the goal is. Like Frankfurt's Borré, the Dutchman might need some time to settle in, but he could still be a great pick from the start of the season, especially if you can't afford his forward partner, Erling Haaland.

Premium options:
André Silva (RB Leipzig, 15M)
The Portuguese forward has made the switch to RB Leipzig after his amazing 2020/21 campaign with Eintracht Frankfurt. Leipzig have been lacking a true goal scorer since Timo Werner's departure, and they have definitely found one in Silva, who could be in for another special season.

Erling Haaland (Dortmund, 16M)
At the age of just 21, Haaland has nearly averaged a goal per game in the Bundesliga during his year and a half in Germany, and the Norwegian international only seems to be getting better.

Robert Lewandowski (FC Bayern, 17M)
One of the few must-have players in the game, Lewandowski was by far the top-scoring Fantasy Bundesliga player last season, picking up a whopping 457 points.
