Isak to leave Dortmund in January?

Alexander Isak still hasn't played any role at Borussia Dortmund under Lucien Favre. A move in January could be on the cards.
19-year-old Alexander Isak currently plays for Borussia Dortmund's reserves in the fourth tier and still hasn't been in the squad for a first team game with Lucien Favre at the helm.

According to Kicker, the Swedish striker is likely to leave Dortmund in January - either on loan or permanently - in the search for playing time at a higher level.

When Favre was recently asked about how Isak is doing, the Dortmund coach didn't want to say much and simply stated that "he's training".

Earlier this month, Isak told Swedish media that he wants to play at a higher level than the fourth tier of German football, but the question is which club that would fit the 19-year-old striker.

Dortmund paid €8,6 million to sign Isak from Swedish side AIK in January 2017.
