Report: Hoffenheim talks for Bayern defender Chris Richards stall

Sport Bild reports that Hoffenheim's hopes of signing Bayern München centre-back Chris Richards permanently have hit a snag as they aren't willing to meet his asking price.
After spending the second half of last season on loan at Hoffenheim, Bayern München defender Chris Richards has been touted for a permanent switch to Rhein-Neckar-Arena.

Hoffenheim coach Sebastian Hoeness remains keen on signing the 21-year-old, and Bayern are willing to let him go – but only for the right price.

According to Sport Bild, the stumbling block is that Hoffenheim don't want to pay Bayern München's asking price of at least €10 million.

Cashing in on Florian Grillitsch could bring in funds to finance a deal for Richards. AC Milan are interested, but haven't been willing to meet the midfielder's price tag of €10-15 million so far.
