Here are 10 players you should consider bringing into your Fantasy Bundesliga team for Matchday 3.

In this Fantasy Bundesliga article, we will not be focusing on the most obvious picks such as Erling Haaland and Robert Lewandowski.

Instead, we will highlight players with a maximum ownership percentage of 15%, who could offer great value as differentials for Matchday 3.

Joe Scally, Gladbach (Defender, 2M)
The 18-year-old struggled heavily against Moussa Diaby last week as Gladbach fell to a disappointing 4-0 defeat at the hands of Bayer Leverkusen, but should still keep his starting spot against Union Berlin, with Stefan Lainer ruled out with an ankle fracture. Since Scally is available for just 2 million, you can't really go wrong with him.

Niko Gießelmann, Union Berlin (Defender, 3.3M)
Over the summer, Union Berlin paid a reported €2.5 million to sign Polish international Tymoteusz Puchacz for the left wing-back position, but he is yet to make his first Bundesliga appearance, with Niko Gießelmann currently ahead of him in the pecking order. Gießelmann costs just 3.3 million and has picked up an impressive 16 points in his first two games after he got on the scoresheet against Hoffenheim last week.

Mitchel Bakker, Leverkusen (Defender, 7.3M)
Bayer Leverkusen's new signing from Paris Saint-Germain showed his attacking prowess against Gladbach last week as he picked up 19 points – more than any other defender on Matchday 2. With 'Die Werkself' now coming up against 17th-placed Augsburg, who have failed to score in their first two games of the season, Bakker is a very attractive option.

Mohamed Simakan, RB Leipzig (Defender, 9.5M)
With 22 points to his name so far, Simakan has had an impressive start to life in the Bundesliga. Remarkably, 12 of these points have come from won duels alone.

Raphael Guerreiro, Dortmund (Defender, 13.9M)
A wing-back with plenty of attacking prowess, Guerreiro is an exciting option for Borussia Dortmund's Friday night clash with Hoffenheim, which should see him make his first start this season.

Ajdin Hrustic, Frankfurt (Midfielder, 4.1M)
After being handed a start in central midfield against Augsburg last week, the 25-year-old looks set to keep his starting spot ahead of the more defensively oriented Makoto Hasebe. Hrustic didn't do everything right against Augsburg, but took a lot of responsibility going forward and got in some dangerous positions.

Florian Kainz, FC Köln (Midfielder, 7.3M)
FC Köln have shown a lot of promise under new coach Steffen Baumgart, having beaten Hertha BSC 3-1 and narrowly lost 3-2 against reigning champions Bayern München at Allianz Arena. With 'The Billy Goats' now taking on newly-promoted VfL Bochum at home, Kainz offers a lot of potential at a fairly low price.

Dominik Szoboszlai, RB Leipzig (Midfielder, 11M)
Szoboszlai burst onto the Bundesliga scene with an impressive brace in RB Leipzig's crushing 4-0 victory over Stuttgart last week, scoring a whopping 25 points. The Hungarian international and Leipzig will take confidence from that performance as they head to Wolfsbrug before the international break.

Anthony Modeste, FC Köln (Striker, 6.5M)
Following a forgettable 2020/21 season, Modeste has enjoyed a great start to the new season, having found the net in each of FC Köln's games this season against Hertha BSC and Bayern München. With a total of 22 points to his name so far, the Frenchman is the fifth-highest scoring striker ahead of his side's home game against newly-promoted Bochum.

Patrik Schick, Leverkusen (Striker, 13.5M)
The Czech international will be heading to Augsburg with plenty of confidence after opening his goal account for the season in Leverkusen's impressive 4-0 victory over Gladbach last week. Augsburg kept a clean sheet versus Frankfurt last week, but their 0-4 thrashing at home against Hoffenheim on Matchday 1 is still fresh in memory.
