Robert Lewandowski: 'That was a great game'

Bayern München star Robert Lewandowski was a happy man after scoring a hat-trick in Bayern München's 5-0 thrashing of Hertha BSC.
Robert Lewandowski was delighted after his hat-trick helped Bayern München to a clear 5-0 victory over Hertha BSC on Saturday.

"That was a great game. I'm always hungry and feel great. I always try to go up a level," the Polish international said after the final whistle.

"I always want to improve on the pitch, and I don't think about records. The most important thing is that I can help the team and that we get wins."

Bayern coach Julian Nagelsmann was very satisfied as well.

"I am very happy today. We played our best game of the season today, and the substitutes brought in a lot of energy," said Nagelsmann and went on to praise Lewandowski:

"When you have the hunger he has, it's great. He is not a classic penalty area striker, but so much more. He has incredible power in the air and is always determined to score goals."
