Fantasy Bundesliga: 10 players to consider for Matchday 5
Here are 10 players you should consider bringing into your Fantasy Bundesliga team for Matchday 5.
In this Fantasy Bundesliga article, we will not be focusing on the most obvious picks such as Erling Haaland and Robert Lewandowski.
Instead, we will highlight players with a maximum ownership percentage of 15%, who could offer great value as differentials for Matchday 5.
Niko Gießelmann, Union Berlin (Defender, 4.1M)
Union Berlin have a tough match-up against Borussia Dortmund, but with the form Gießelmann is in, he still deserves a shout out. The wing-back took his total points tally to 48 last week, meaning he has been the best defender in the game so far despite costing just 4.1 million.
Luca Netz, Gladbach (Defender, 4.8M)
The new signing from Hertha started as a left wing-back last week, picking up 11 points, and should keep his starting spot against crisis-hit Augsburg if Ramy Bensebaini fails to recover in time for the game. Jordan Beyer (1.8M) and Joe Scally (2.1M) are even cheaper and also look set to start.
Deyovaisio Zeefuik, Hertha BSC (Defender, 6M)
With Lukas Klünter out injured, Zeefuik should start at the right wing-back position for Hertha, who take on bottom-placed Greuther Fürth in a standalone fixture on Friday evening.
Patrick Wimmer, Bielefeld (Midfielder, 4M)
Wimmer has looked really impressive in his first two outings for Arminia Bielefeld, which have seen him score his first goal and pick up 21 Fantasy points. With a price of just 4 million, he could be worth a punt.
Suat Serdar, Hertha BSC (Midfielder, 9.1M)
Serdar was mentioned in our '10 players to consider' article last week, and it's safe to say the midfielder didn't disappoint as he went on to score a brace and pick up 19 points. With Hertha taking on Greuther Fürth at home this week, he could be in for another big matchday.
Florian Wirtz, Bayer Leverkusen (Midfielder, 11.2M)
Wirtz shone in his first start for 'Die Werkself' this season, scoring and assisting in last week's 3-4 defeat to Borussia Dortmund. With Leverkusen's favorable fixtures in mind, he's very hard to ignore this week.
Christopher Nkunku, RB Leipzig (Midfielder, 14.2M)
Nkunku hasn't lived up to his Fantasy Bundesliga price tag so far this season, but should take plenty of confidence from the hat-trick he scored against Manchester City in the Champions League on Wednesday.
Filip Kostic, Eintracht Frankfurt (Midfielder, 14.3M)
Frankfurt and Kostic seem to have put their differences behind them, and the Serbian winger is likely to start against Wolfsburg after he came on and scored against Stuttgart last week.
Omar Marmoush, Stuttgart (Striker, 3.3M)
The Wolfsburg loanee looked very lively in his Stuttgart debut, getting on the scoresheet and racking up 14 points. Costing just 3.3M, he's currently one of the most intriguing bargain picks up front.
Ishak Belfodil, Hertha BSC (Striker, 5.9M)
Belfodil has shown that he knows where the goal is in the past and plays at home against a Greuther Fürth side, who have already conceded 11 times this season.
