Pavlovic "very sad" about missing Euro 2024: "I will come back stronger"
Aleksandar Pavlovic has issued a statement after being ruled out of Euro 2024.
Bayern Munich youngster Aleksandar Pavlovic was ecstatic after learning he had been named in Germany's squad for Euro 2024.
However, it's now clear that the 20-year-old won't be able to represent his country at the Euros, as he has been ruled out of the tournament with an infection.
Pavlovic briefly reacted to the disappointment on Instagram, writing:
"At the moment I'm very sad that the dream of the home Euros has been shattered."
"I wish the boys the greatest possible success. And I'll come back stronger," he added.
Pavlovic made his debut for Germany in a 0-0 friendly against Ukraine earlier this month.
Borussia Dortmund captain Emre Can has been called up to replace Pavlovic in the Germany squad.
