Sané reportedly set to return to Bayern squad against Kiel

Kicker reports that Leroy Sané is expected to be back in Bayern Munich's squad for their game against Holstein Kiel.

After spending weeks working his way back from a groin injury, Leroy Sané is close to a return to action.

According to Kicker, the winger is expected to return to the squad for Bayern's away game against Holstein Kiel in the Bundesliga on Saturday.

He could either make his return to action against the newly-promoted side or in Tuesday's Champions League opener against Dinamo Zagreb.

Asked about the possibility of Sané extending his contract beyond 2025, Bayern board member for sport Max Eberl recently said that the main priority is to get the German interational fully fit.

"The most important thing for Leroy is that he gets healthy and is back on the pitch soon. That's what we're concentrating on at the moment, because Leroy can make the difference at any time with his extraordinary qualities," Eberl told Sport Bild.
