Stanisic an "integral part" of Bayern's plans

Josip Stanisic has opened up about Bayern Munich's plans for him when he returns from his loan spell at Bayer Leverkusen.

Josip Stanisic says he's been told he's an "integral part" of Bayern Munich's plans.

The defender, who is on loan at Bayer Leverkusen for the rest of the season, says he's held talks with the Bayern bosses about returning in the summer.

"I'm not involved in the plans now, but I've had a few conversations. I've already been told that I'm an integral part," Stanisic told Sky Germany, before adding:

"But my head is still here and it will stay here until the end of the season."

The 24-year-old has made 31 appearances this term, scoring two goals and providing four assists.

Most recently, he scored an injury-time winner in Leverkusen's 1-1 draw with Borussia Dortmund.
