Florian Wirtz has been announced as the 2023/24 Bundesliga Player of the Season.
The young attacking midfielder has won the award thanks to the votes he received in the Team of the Season poll on the official Bundesliga website.
Wirtz's impressive campaign for title-winning Bayer Leverkusen earned him three Player of the Month awards through the season (October, December and February).
The 21-year-old has scored 11 goals and provided 12 assists in 32 league games this season.
