Brooks to miss out on international duty
John Anthony Brooks will not be participating in the U.S. national team's upcoming games.
Wolfsburg centre-back John Anthony Brooks will not be able to travel with the American national team for their October fixtures against Jamaica, Panama and Costa Rica.
The 28-year-old, who came on for the second half in Saturday's 1-3 defeat to Gladbach, is struggling with back problems.
Wolfsburg coach Mark van Bommel is now hoping that Brooks will be fit in time for the club's next game against Union Berlin on October 16.
