Hütter gives squad update ahead of Gladbach's clash with Bayern

Gladbach will be boosted by the returns of Matthias Ginter and Marcus Thuram against Bayern München tomorrow, but Tony Jantschke will miss out.
Borussia Mönchengladbach coach Adi Hütter has provided a squad update ahead of his side's DFB-Pokal clash with Bayern München tomorrow.

Tony Jantschke is out along with long-term absentees Stefan Lainer and Christoph Kramer, but Matthias Ginter and Marcus Thuram will be back in the squad.

"Unfortunately, Tony Jantschke suffered a number of facial fractures during a coming together in training on Sunday. He has undergone surgery already and we wish him a speedy recovery," Hütter told reporters.

"Apart from Stevie Lainer, who has been training again since Monday, 'Chris' Kramer and Tony Jantschke, everyone is available. Marcus Thuram is also an option again tomorrow.

"Mathias Ginter is fit again and will likely be in back in the starting line-up tomorrow. Otherwise, there are places up for grabs."
