Pal Dardai: "You have to make it 2-0 in a game like this"

Hertha BSC coach Pal Dardai said he couldn't fault his team's performance, although they had to settle for a 1-1 draw against Leverkusen after conceding a late goal.

Robert Andrich spoiled the party for Hertha BSC as his late equaliser earned Bayer Leverkusen a point in today's 1-1 Bundesliga draw between the two sides.

Speaking after the game, Hertha coach Pal Dardai expressed frustration that his team didn't manage to kill the game off, but said he couldn't fault the performance.

"I've played football myself for a long time, and I know that you have to make it 2-0 in a game like this, then you go home as the winner," Dardai told reporters.

"Nevertheless, I'm not dissatisfied with my team, they showed good form today. Everyone worked well, defended with patience. That was okay."
