Borussia Mönchengladbach fell to their third defeat in a row as they lost 1-2 at home to Union Berlin today.

Gladbach coach Adi Hütter was frustrated after the game, claiming that the result was not a fair reflection of the game.

"Union Berlin scored two goals from their only chances and took home all three points. I don't think our performance warranted us leaving empty-handed. The result is incredibly frustrating as it doesn't reflect how we played," said Hütter.

"The team did a lot of what we were hoping from them. There were more energetic than in the Hannover game and didn't give much away. The team played with a lot of discipline tactically throughout the 90 minutes, put in a lot of hard yards and played some really good football at times, particularly in the first half.

"Nevertheless, it hasn't counted for anything, and that is incredibly frustrating, but it's a performance we can build on."
