Fantasy Bundesliga tips: 10 players to consider for Matchday 23

Here are 10 players you should consider bringing into your Fantasy Bundesliga team for Matchday 23.
In this Fantasy Bundesliga article, we will not be focusing on the most obvious picks such as Erling Haaland, Christopher Nkunku and Robert Lewandowski.

Instead, we will highlight players with a maximum ownership percentage of 15%, who could offer great value as differentials for Matchday 23.

Nico Schlotterbeck, Freiburg (Defender, 9.7M, 15%)
Schlotterbeck's tally of 170 points makes him the second-highest scoring defender in the game, only behind his much more expensive teammate Christian Günter, who has scored 172 points and played two games more. Moreover, Freiburg have one of the best schedules.

Ramy Bensebaini, Gladbach (Defender, 11.1M, 3%)
The Algerian international has been in fantastic form since his return from the Africa Cup of Nations, taking 32 points from his last two games. Gladbach's away game against Dortmund looks tough on paper, but BVB are not untouchable at home as we saw earlier this month, when they were thrashed 2-5 by Bayer Leverkusen.

Raphaël Guerreiro, Dortmund (Defender, 14M, 14%)
It has generally been a disappointing season for Guerreiro from a Fantasy Bundesliga perspective, but the Portuguese international showed that he's still one of the game's best defenders in terms of ceiling, when he scored a whopping 20 points last week.

Gerrit Holtmann, Bochum (Midfielder, 5.8M, 2%)
Holtmann's performances are a bit inconsistent, but he can be impossible to contain when he's having a good game. He was certainly at his best last week, picking up a whopping 25 points against reigning champions FC Bayern – more than any other player on Matchday 22. He will surely look to build on that performance against a Stuttgart side with one of the worst defensive records in the league.

Patrick Wimmer, Arminia Bielefeld (Midfielder, 6.1M, 3%)
Wimmer was out last week due to suspension, and he was sorely missed as Bielefeld fell to a 2-0 defeat at the hands of Hoffenheim. The winger was on a roll before his ban and will now look to pick up where he left off.

Dani Olmo, RB Leipzig (Midfielder, 12.6M, 10%)
Having worked his way back after a long spell on the sidelines, the Spaniard is starting to look like the player he was before his injury. Despite only playing around an hour against FC Köln last week, Olmo managed to grab a goal and an assist, picking up 13 points – more than any other Leipzig player.

Jonas Hofmann, Gladbach (Midfielder, 15.6M, 6%)
Gladbach have improved in recent weeks, and it's no coincidence that they have looked better since Hofmann returned from injury. The German international has racked up 45 points in his last three games after either scoring or assisting in each of them.

Tiago Tomás, Stuttgart (Striker, 3.4M, 0%)
Stuttgart's struggles continued last week as they lost 4-2 to Bayer Leverkusen, but Portuguese loanee Tiago Tomas was a bright spot for the crisis-hit club, bagging a brace in his starting debut. With a price of just 3.4 million, you can't really go wrong with the 19-year-old, even if he might play on the wing instead of up front this weekend, with Sasa Kalajdzic back from injury.

Jürgen Locadia, Bochum (Striker, 6.4M, 0%)
Locadia seems to have nailed down a starting spot up front for Bochum, making the line-up four times in a row at the expense of Sebastian Polter. Last week showed that he's even on penalties for Thomas Reis' side as he won 12 points after scoring from the spot against Bayern.

Georginio Rutter, Hoffenheim (Striker, 8.4M, 0%)
19-year-old Georginio Rutter has been one of the breakthrough players in the Bundesliga this season, racking up six goals and four assists in 22 appearances. Rutter has started four successive games up top, and even with Andrej Kramaric back in training, the Frenchman is likely to keep his starting spot after scoring and putting in another highly impressive performance against Bielefeld last week.
