Leipzig chief rules out signing Baku
Oliver Mintzlaff has poured cold water on rumors that RB Leipzig are interested in Ridle Baku from Wolfsburg.
RB Leipzig CEO Oliver Mintzlaff has played down a Sport Bild report linking Wolfsburg's Ridle Baku with 'Die Roten Bullen'.
"That's a name I'm hearing for the first time," Mintzlaff told RTL ahead of RB Leipzig's 2-2 Europa League play-off draw with Real Sociedad last night.
"I can tell you that no, he won't be coming in the summer," Mintzlaff said.
Sport Bild's report also claimed Leipzig remain keen on Baku's teammate Maxence Lacroix as well as Hertha BSC's Marton Dardai.
