Matarazzo "very disappointed" as Stuttgart draw with Bochum

Pellegrino Matarazzo could't hide his disappointment after his Stuttgart side were forced to settle for a draw against Bochum.
VfB Stuttgart coach Pellegrino Matarazzo has admitted his disappointment with Saturday's 1-1 draw with Bochum.

Stuttgart were leading 1-0 until Eduard Löwen equalised from the penalty spot deep into injury time to earn a point for the away side.

"We’re very disappointed about the result. The team produced a good performance, but unfortunately we didn’t manage to get the second goal and then conceded the equaliser through an unfortunate penalty," said Matarazzo.

"The team wanted it, they played as a unit. We’ll keep going and keep working hard. Our aim is to get the three points next Friday at Hoffenheim."

Stuttgart, who are now winless in their last eight games, sit 17th in the Bundesliga.
