Danish winger Jacob Bruun Larsen has made it clear that he wants to play more at Hoffenheim.

Bruun Larsen played 90 minutes in last week's 3-0 defeat against Hertha, but has otherwise been limited to cameos off the bench in 2022.

"Obviously, I'm not super happy with the playing time, but I'm working on it," the 23-year-old admitted in an interview with Danish football news outlet Bold.dk.

"I was out with an injury for quite some time, but I've played without any problems for six to eight weeks.

"That's a while, but it simply takes time to force your way into a team that's doing well. But of course I want to play, and I've made that clear to the club."

The 23-year-old Danish international, who spent the second half of last season out on loan, is not considering a move away from Hoffenheim, though.

"I'm happy where I am, and I'm happy with the setup. I feel I can contribute a lot and even more than I do. I'm just trying to grab the opportunity when it comes. I'm completely convinced that I'm in the right place," he emphasized.
