Report: Real Betis approach Bayern about potential Roca loan

Spanish radio reports that Real Betis are currently in talks with FC Bayern München about securing a loan for central midfielder Marc Roca.
transfer window, Marc Roca may be headed to LaLiga after all. Spanish Radio broadcaster "Canal Sur" reports that Real Betis are in talks with German record champions Bayern München about securing a loan. German broadcaster "Sport1" confirms that contact has taken place, but claims negotiations haven't begun yet.

Roca may be re-thinking his decision to remain on the Bayern bench. After a very active January during which the 25-year-old earned praise from FCB head-coach Julian Nagelsmann for filling in whilst COVID left others indisposed, Roca has barely featured for the team at all. Roca has made just three relief appearances in the last eight league rounds, logging a paltry 30 minutes of late time-killing sub time.

With 437 minutes of total play this year, Roca has been used less than any Bayern players besides Bouna Sarr and Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting. The former RCD Espanyol man doesn't look likely to unseat the likes of Joshua Kimmich and Jamal Musiala in midfield six roles. The Spanish Radio channel reports that Betis currently seek a loan for next season with a purchase option.
