Chelsea 1-0 West Ham
•Regular to good performance
•Good chances created
Playing on the left side of the attacking duo, Werner performed well during his minutes on the pitch, linking up with Marcos Alonso.
The forward dropped back well at times, rebounding and giving a progressive passing option in the build-up all game, moving to the line to allow Alonso to run the inner hall of the wing.
The 'Die Mannschaft' striker enjoyed his fair amount of chances.
At the beginning of the second half, Werner had a couple of good chances in the box that were blocked well by The Hammers defense and a third one that was the clearest of all just in front of Fabianski that went outside. He could've taken a better shot despite the difficult angle.
Chelsea 1-0 West Ham
•Did not have any real clear chances
Havertz keeps morphing more and more into a full effect forward, pairing with Timo Werner up front.
He's getting stronger in his aerial game, starting to become a threat with crosses to the box and an option when Chelsea are being pressed.
Havertz played most of the game on the right side of the attack, looking for cut-ins and pressing well to make West Ham's build-up as difficult as possible.
Similar to Werner, whenever Chelsea couldn't push a fast offensive transition, he came down at times to help with the construction of the play, although not as much as usual.
He was marked very well throughout the match.
Brentford 0-0 Tottenham
•Acted as a holding midfielder
Janelt continues his good second half of the season, playing the full 90's again with Brentford against Tottenham, making Antonio Conte's side suffer and having chances of winning the game.
The German played as a holding midfielder in Brentford's 4-3-3 instead in his usual right side, with Nørgaard's late unavailability pushing him to cover the position.
The young player performed well, covering the spaces in a good manner and being very calm distributing the ball, he was not pressed much in the build-up as Tottenham had the underhand in numbers in the midfield.
He seemed comfortable playing facing his own goal, although he did look a bit tight up, wanting to be his usual self and deployed forward.
Brighton 2-2 Southampton
•Played as a right wing-back and then switched to the left side of the midfield
•Scored but was disallowed
The 30-year-old came in when the game was already 2-2, just as he entered the pitch Groß made a great tackle to deny Tella a clear chance.
He made himself strong with the challenges and his defensive positioning when the game was already a trade of punches.
10 minutes after his entrance, the versatile German was moved to the left side of the midfield line, with Graham Potter trying to strengthen it and gain the numerical advantage.
He looked for long passes whenever possible and occupied the spaces very well.
Groß proved that by staying as a number 9 after pressing Salisu and making him go long, Brighton recovered the ball, moved it to the weak side and found Groß with a through ball outside the area, Southampton didn't press him and the German shot it to the low left corner of the goal. However, it was disallowed by millimeters.
Manchester City 5-1 Watford
•Entered when the game was already 5-1
•City's third captain came in for De Bruyne whit the game practically finished
Pep Guardiola was able to distribute the minutes of his team ahead of the semifinal clash against Real Madrid.
Gündogan was able to play a calm match, completing all of his passes and not challenging himself much.
Marc-André Ter Stegen
Barcelona 0-1 Rayo Vallecano
•Had some guilt in Rayo's goal
Ter Stegen is once again being criticized in Spain for his performances. These past two seasons, Barcelona fans and media have been critical of the keeper, stating he is not the decisive player he once was.
Rayo's goal came the 7th minute through at his post, with the keeper from Mönchengladbach being badly positioned and looking slow with his reflexes.
Saint-Etienne 2-4 Monaco
The German forward keeps rising as one of Monaco's leaders, helping to direct the offense.
He wasn't very tuned with his passes, although most of them were in search of breaking the lines, as shown at the last goal, where he made a through pass to Jakobs before he assisted Boadu.
He had 4 shots and his goal came after an assist from the right side by Gelson Martins which Volland just had to push into the net.
Saint-Etienne 2-4 Monaco
•The goal came through a penalty kick.
Saint-Etienne 2-4 Monaco
•Played as midfielder
The young left-back is starting to develop more as a midfielder, enjoying the minutes given in this position by Phillip Clement.
The 21-year-old showed his offensive traits by directly participating and causing the last two goals of the match with two deep runs.
First with a cross that was deflected by a Saint-Etienne defender into his own net, then receiving a great through ball from his German teammate to assist Boadu.
Lyon 5-2 Montpellier
•Entered in the 36th minute
•Better performance but still made some mistakes
After losing his starting spot due to the chain of mistakes and bad performances, Boateng came in as a substitute for the injured Da Silva.
He was slow in the anticipation and reaction at Montpellier's second goal, but finished a good performance overall with superb passing quality.
•Entered for Perisic
The left-back entered the pitch once more for Ivan Perisic, it seems to be like a regular substitution for Simone Inzaghi since Gosens is fully fit along with the Croatian's amazing form.
Displayed a good performance although he still seems unable to look completely comfortable, which is understandable given the time he was out and that he's still getting used to Inter's dynamics.
Verona 1-1 Sampdoria
•Booked again in the first half after committing a penalty
•The center-back has not chained a very good pair of games this week.
After being substituted in the first half against Atalanta after being booked early in the game, Günter was taken off the pitch after committing a penalty arriving late for a challenge and stepping on Caputo's foot.
Genoa 1-0 Cagliari
Nothing too remarkable, played with his usual intensity, but was not able to make a difference and was subbed off for Destro at the halftime.
Cambuur 1-2 PSV
Good game by the Weltmeister, who was very active and mobile on the offensive front playing as a number 10.
Tried to feed through passes to Zahavi and the wingers.
Scored after a corner, arriving close at the far post and heading the ball into the net.
•Suffered a bit on the defensive end
The left-back performed fairly well with the ball, trying to give width and depth to PSV. Gave SC Cambuur a chance to score the second goal after not passing de ball fast enough while pressed.
Lacked strength and determination on some loose balls and crosses.
RB Salzburg 5-0 Austrian Wien
