Rose: "We have conceded too many goals"

Marco Rose admits Borussia Dortmund must improve their defensive record.
Borussia Dortmund fell to a disappointing defeat against VfL Bochum at Signal Iduna Park yesterday, losing 3-4 in a dramatic game.

Speaking after the game, Dortmund coach Marco Rose rued the fact that 'Die Schwarzgelben' have now conceded 50 goals this season.

"It's disappointing. We responded well to going behind early, deserved to get back level and had a lot of chances before and after making it 2-2. After the break, we deservedly went 3-2 ahead. Unfortunately, we didn't score the fourth goal. At a stage where we were looking as tired as we felt, Bochum made it 4-3 with a deflected cross and a shot that hit someone's hand from two yards away," Rose told reporters after the game.

"Overall, we have conceded too many goals. If I look at the table and see 50 goals conceded, it's obvious what we need to focus on. We could have scored eight or nine goals today, but we only managed three," he added.
