Report: Stuttgart cash in on Maffeo after Mallorca survive relegation
Through an automatic purchase clause in his loan agreement with RCD Mallorca, VfB Stuttgart have earned back the €3 million they just spent acquiring Greek defender Konstantinos Mavropanos.
German footballing magazine Kicker reports that the Swabians are finally rid of one of their biggest transfer flops after Mallorca dramatically escaped relegation from the Spanish top flight.

Kicker goes on to report that the Spanish U21 international may not remain at Mallorca, who may be looking to flip him amid interest from other clubs.
