Paraguayan defender Omar Alderete is once again on his way back to Berlin following the collapse of his transfer to Getafe.

Chances that Alderete will remain in Germany's capital city for the upcoming campaign remain slim. Fredi Bobic and the Hertha administrative team have actively been trying to offload the player for quite some time. Moreover, the Paraguayan has been struggling with abductor issues.
It's unclear as to whether a larger club will be interested in a player carrying an uncooperative reputation in addition to injuries.
