Nagelsmann lets criticism of refereeing slip following draw: "I'll probably get a fine."
In interviews with German broadcasters, FCB head-coach Julian Nagelsmann expressed a profound displeasure with the performance of match-official Daniel Schlager during Saturday evening's encounter with Gladbach.
The FCB trainer went into further detail during an English language broadcast with ESPN correspondent Archie Rhind-Tutt.
FCB head-coach Julian Nagelsmann, while crediting Gladbach keeper Yann Sommer with an excellent performance on Saturday evening, did feel as if the Gladbach keeper had held the ball too long and might have been booked for time wasting on two occasions. Nagelsmann also criticized match official Daniel Schlager for not whistling several fouls he felt that Christoph Kramer had committed on Leroy Sané.
The FCB trainer went into further detail during an English language broadcast with ESPN correspondent Archie Rhind-Tutt.
Nagelsmann, who was booked for dissent late in the match along with both Sané and Kramer, said that he felt Schlager had decided "every 50-50" in favor of Gladbach and called Schalger's performance "horrible". The 35-year-old trainer concluded the interview with a mixed English-German sentence, "Now I get wahrscheinlich strafen (probably a fine)."
