Leverkusen's 1-0 defeat away to Club Brugge on Wednesday was marred by a questionable VAR call and captain Lukas Hradecky's mistake. VAR ruled Jonathan Tah fractionally offside to deny Leverkusen an equalizer and their veteran keeper couldn't hold onto Abakar Sylla's header in the 42nd minute.

Hradecky was clearly upset with the performance after the game: "It doesn't give a sh** how we concede the goals. When you're in sh**, it's really sh**."

In his press conference, coach Gerardo Seoane stated, "It was an avoidable defeat." But he later added that, "The players gave me a positive answer today."

Players and management seem to be sticking by their manager even with six losses in their last seven games.
