Report: Inter plan to open talks with Thuram's representatives during the World Cup

Gazetta dello Sport reports that Inter could step up their interest in Gladbach's Marcus Thuram during the World Cup.
Inter are said to be looking into the possibility of signing Gladbach's Marcus Thuram in January.

According to Gazetta dello Sport, the Serie A giants are planning to meet with Thuram's entourage during the World Cup in Qatar with the hope of putting themselves in pole position to land the French striker.

Thuram, who is out of contract in the summer, has also been linked with Bayern Munich and Liverpool among others.

Sport Bild reported earlier this month that Gladbach would consider selling Thuram for around €10 million in January.

The 25-year-old has been in excellent form this season, scoring 13 goals in 17 games for 'Die Fohlen'.
