Multiple Sources:
Frankfurt finalize purchase of Ecuadorian defender

Multiple sources are now reporting that Eintracht Frankfurt and Royal Antwerp FC have worked out a deal for the summer transfer of Ecuadorian defender William Joel Pacho Tenorio.

The Independiente del Valle academy man had only just made the move last January for a reported €2.85 million. Antwerp found themselves eager to "flip" the player for a sizable net-gain. While Belgian sources initially claimed that the Reds hoped to sell Pacho off for approximately €16 million, the German media outlets report that the SGE will obtain the player for around €9 million.
It would appear that Markus Krösche and the Eintracht administrative team have landed at least one target to replace defenders Almamy Touré and Evan N'dicka; both of whom sit on expiring contracts and are expected to depart after the season. Gladbach very nearly signed Pacho in the summer of 2021. An apparent done deal nixed by then BMG sporting director Max Eberl left Pacho's academy club pondering legal action.
