Isco's transfer to Union Berlin collapses!

It has now been officially confirmed by all parties involved that former Spanish national team midfielder Isco will not be joining 1. FC Union Berlin.
Despite a passed medical, the sensational transfer of Spanish footballing giant to 1. FC Union Berlin will not be happening. The 30-year-old passed a medical in the German capital today, but both sides were not able to come to an agreement on the midfielder's new contract. Both player and club have released statements.

"We would have liked to see Isco with us, but we have our limits," FCU managing director Oliver Ruhnert revealed, "These were exceeded today, contrary to the previous agreement, which is why the transfer will not take place."

"We had to realize in the course of the talks that our negotiating partner was no longer willing to move within the framework originally discussed," the 30-year-old Spaniard's consultant agency told Germany's main sporting tabloid, "A move to Union is thus off the table."

A potential move to Leipzig for Isco has long been dismissed. It thus appears certain that the decorated veteran will not be joining football at all.
