DFB announces Upamecano suspension
Dayot Upamecano has been suspended for one game following his red card against Gladbach.
Bayern Munich will be without Dayot Upamecano for their top-of-the-table clash with Union Berlin this Sunday.
The German Football Association (DFB) has announced today that the French centre-back has been given a one-match suspension as a result of his red card in Saturday's 3-2 defeat against Gladbach.
Upamecano was shown a straight red card in the eighth minute of the game after he pulled down Alassane Plea, denying the Gladbach striker a clear-cut chance.
24-year-old Upamecano has featured 30 times in total for Bayern this season.
