Shinji Kagawa could leave Borussia Dortmund to spend the rest of the season on loan at Bordeaux, beIN Sports understands.

Apparently, Dortmund have agreed to let the offensive midfielder join the French Ligue 1 club on a six-month loan deal.

However, Kagawa is yet to agree to make the move to France. Back in November, the 29-year-old made it clear that he prefers a move to Spain.

"I cannot end my career as a football player without going to Spain. I absolutely want to achieve that," he told Nikkon Sports.

Kagawa has made just four appearances for Borussia Dortmund this season.
