The pressure is mounting on Oliver Glasner, who has failed to lead Eintracht Frankfurt to a win in the Bundesliga since mid-February.

According to Sport1, Glasner could be relieved of his duties at the end of the season if Eintracht fail to win the DFB-Pokal, with the semi-final against Stuttgart taking place tomorrow.

In addition to his sporting problems, Glasner is said to have lost some of his support off the pitch.

His stalling of a contract extension beyond 2024 and sly jabs at sporting director Markus Krösche have not gone down well with the club's management or the team, with Sport1 claiming he has lost parts of the dressing room.

After the 1-1 draw with Augsburg at the weekend, Glasner caused a stir when he was asked what gave him hope for the DFB-Pokal semi-final and replied "not much today".

Asked about his future, the Austrian coach refused to rule out a summer exit:

"If someone thinks another coach can do better than Oliver Glasner, then I'll pack my bags and the next coach will try," he said.
