Union Berlin reach agreement with Inter on €15 million Gosens purchase, Romano claims

Though no other German media outlets (for understandable reasons at this point) are confirming the story, Italian transfer guru Fabrizio Romano claims that Union Berlin have reached an agreement to purchase German left-back Robin Gosens from Inter Milan.
The saga of transfer rumors linking German national team left-back Robin Gosens with a move to his native country have proven to numerous to count at this point. Gosens has not been able to complete his aspired-to move despite many stories suggesting that a transfer was close at hand. This summer, the 29-year-old has been linked with VfL Wolfsburg and 1. FC Union Berlin. At one point, Wolfsburg were reported to be close to a deal.

Wolfsburg opted to sign two other left-backs, Brazilian Rogerio and Dane Joakim Mæhle. Now - according to Italian transfer guru Fabrizio Romano at least - Union have swooped in and rekindled their interest from earlier this summer. Romano reports that Union and Inter Milan are in agreement on a €15 million transfer fee plus performance-related bonuses.

No German media outlets currently confirm the report.
