Matchday 21 – Bundesliga team of the week (3-4-3):

Goalkeeper: Jiri Pavlenka, Werder Bremen (2)
Made some stunning saves to keep a clean sheet in Werder Bremen's crushing 4-0 win over FC Augsburg.

Centre-back: Niklas Stark, Hertha BSC (3)
The centre-back won 87 percent of his duels in Hertha BSC's convincing 3-0 victory over Borussia Mönchengladbach. Made a great last-ditch tackle to stop an attempt from Alassane Pléa in the first half.

Centre-back: Martin Hinteregger, Eintracht Frankfurt (3)
The centre-back, who joined Frankfurt on loan from Augsburg in January, is already looking like a solid signing. In the 0-0 draw with RB Leipzig, he impressed with clever positional play and won 14 out of the 18 duels he was involved in.

Centre-back: Nordi Mukiele, RB Leipzig (3)
The versatile defender put in a convincing performance in his first Bundesliga game since November as he helped RB Leipzig to a clean sheet against Eintracht Frankfurt.

Right midfielder: Nicolai Müller, Hannover 96
The Eintracht Frankfurt loanee stepped up and scored both goals in Hannover's important 2-0 win over Nürnberg.

Central midfielder: Dennis Geiger, Hoffenheim
Started on the bench against Borussia Dortmund, but made a huge impact after he was subbed on at the break. The central midfielder added structure to Julian Nagelsmann's side and was involved in his side's last two goals.

Central midfielder: Julian Brandt, Bayer Leverkusen (2)
What a performance! Julian Brandt stole the show in Leverkusen's 5-1 win over Mainz as he netted twice and set up two goals.

Left midfielder: Vincenzo Grifo, Freiburg (2)
The Hoffenheim loanee delivered his best performance yet after returning to his former club as he scored and made an assist in his side's 3-3 draw with Wolfsburg.

Right winger: Jadon Sancho, Borussia Dortmund (4)
Jadon Sancho did what he wanted in Borussia Dortmund's 3-3 draw against Hoffenheim who couldn't control the young winger at all. Sancho scored the first goal, and it was a finish from the 18-year-old that led to the second goal which Mario Götze scored off the rebound.

Striker: Davie Selke, Hertha BSC
Selke delivered a convincing performance in Hertha's 3-0 win over Gladbach as he scored and made an assist.

Left winger: Milot Rashica, Werder Bremen (2)
Rashica scored two great goals in Werder's 4-0 win over Augsburg before he had to leave the pitch with back problems towards the end of the first half.
