Müller slams "sluggish" Bayern performance after loss to Werder

Analyzing Bayern's loss to Werder Bremen, Thomas Müller admitted that the Bavarians didn't deserve to win after a "sluggish" performance.
Thomas Müller criticized Bayern Munich's lack of "life" and "bite" following their 1-0 defeat to Werder Bremen on Sunday.

The veteran came on as part of a triple substitution 20 minutes into the second half, but couldn't save Bayern from an underwhelming defeat.

"This was a big blow for us," Müller admitted to DAZN after the match.

"We didn't deserve to win over 90 minutes, we were far too sluggish and had no life in our game.

"There wasn't enough fire for 60 or 70 minutes, we lacked the bite to go into duels.

"If you look at the last 15 minutes, it was better, but sometimes it just doesn't work," Müller said.

Bayern will look to bounce back from the defeat when they take on Union Berlin on Wednesday.
