Dani Olmo has been the subject of much speculation recently, after Barcelona failed to register the Spain international in time for the second half of the La Liga season due to financial issues.

The situation has led to rumors that Olmo could be heading for the exit door, with reports suggesting that he could leave the club on a free transfer this month.

Bayern, among others, have been mentioned in connection with the former Leipzig star, but Bild recently reported that the Bavarians are not actually considering a move for the Spaniard.

Bayern board member for sport Max Eberl has now confirmed that a move for the Spaniard, who he knows from their time together at RB Leipzig, is not a priority at the moment.

"I will have to read the Spanish regulations to find out what that means, registered, not registered. I don't know enough about it. But it's not something we're really looking into," Eberl said after Bayern's 6-0 win over RB Salzburg on Monday.

Asked if he believes Olmo is a good player, Eberl laughed and said:

“If I said no now, I would be really bad [at my job].”
