Rafinha lashes out at Kovac: 'The coach hasn't been fair with me'

Rafinha has complained about his recent lack of first-team opportunities at Bayern München.
Bayern München's Rafinha has hit out at Niko Kovac as the right-back feels he deserves to play more.

The 33-year-old has played just one Bundesliga game in 2019 so far, and he doesn't understand why the Bayern coach doesn't give him more opportunities.

"Lately, the coach hasn't been fair with me. I perform well in training, but it's hard for me to motivate myself. I train well, but I don't play any role," Rafinha told Bild and added:

"Maybe Ancelotti, Heynckes and Guardiola (Bayern's former coaches) know nothing about football, because I always played under them. The coach knows that I will leave at the end of the season. Maybe that's the reason."

Rafinha has played for Bayern since 2011.
