Nagelsmann praises team spirit and criticizes pitch after win over Netherlands

Following Germany's 2-1 win over the Netherlands, coach Julian Nagelsmann was full of praise for his team, but was critical of the pitch in Frankfurt.
After beating France 2-0 last week, Germany made it two out of two in March with a 2-1 comeback win over the Netherlands on Tuesday night.

Speaking after the game, Germany coach Julian Nagelsmann said he was pleased with his side's performance and team spirit, but was far from happy with the pitch, which he described as a "disaster".

"The victory is very good. The game was more demanding than the one against France. We defended actively. The game can turn in the second half and we clearly had the better chances in the last quarter of an hour," said Nagelsmann in a post-match interview.

"We were determined to win the game. The team spirit is very good. The last ten days have been great for the team. The pitch was a disaster."
