Sky Germany recently reported that Bayern Munich have expressed an interest in appointing Red Bull technical director Mario Gomez to a management role in the future.

However, Oliver Mintzlaff, Red Bull's CEO of corporate projects and new investments, does not expect Gomez to join the Bavarian giants.

"Mario Gomez feels very, very comfortable with us and has just extended his contract," Mintzlaff told Sky Germany.

“I'm quite sure that Mario Gomez is not going to Bayern.”

Gomez, 39, spent four years at Bayern as a player. His contract with Red Bull runs until 2028.
