Gosens casts doubt on future at Union Berlin

Robin Gosens has cast doubt on his future at Union Berlin, saying he'll think carefully about his future in the summer.
Robin Gosens has refused to guarantee that he will stay at Union Berlin beyond the end of the season.

The left-back, who is determined to win back a place in the German national team, says he'll consider his future carefully in the summer.

"My ambition is to reach the highest possible level. After the season we will reflect and see what is the right thing to do," Gosens told ZDF.

"But that doesn't necessarily mean that I will leave after one season, absolutely not."

Union spent €13 million to sign Gosens from Inter last summer. Since then, he has scored seven goals and added an assist in 31 appearances for the club.
